Tux Paint works on Windows (Windows 7 through Windows 11), macOS (10.10 Yosemite and up), Android (including Chromebooks), Linux, and Haiku OS.

Απλή Διεπαφή

Διατίθεται ένας μεγάλος αριθμός χρήσιμων εργαλείων σχεδίασης. (Δείτε τα Εργαλεία Σχεδίασης, παρακάτω.)
Ο καμβάς σχεδίασης έχει καθορισμένο μέγεθος κι έτσι ο χρήστης δε χρειάζεται ν' ανησυχεί για τα pixels ή τις ίντσες όταν φτιάχνει μία καινούρια ζωγραφιά.
Ολόκληρο το πρόγραμμα 'χωράει' σε πολύ μικρή οθόνη 640x480 και μπορεί να εμφανίζεται σε κατάσταση πλήρους οθόνης, για να κρύβει τη διεπαφή της υποκείμενης 'επιφάνειας εργασίας' του υπολογιστή. (Το προκαθορισμένο μέγεθος είναι 800x600, αλλά μπορεί να τρέξει σε μεγαλύτερα μεγέθη καθώς επίσης και σε κατακόρυφο ή οριζόντιο προσανατολισμό .)

Tux Paint provides a number of optional accessibiltiy enhancements, to help make the program more suitable in some circumstances.
