Tux Paint is available for devices — smartphones, tablets, etc. — that use Google's Android mobile operating system, as well as devices running Google's ChromeOS (such as Chromebooks) that support running Android apps.

If your device can install Android apps, you should be able to find it in the Google Play distribution platform ("app store"). (If you have an Android device, we also offer other ways to get Tux Paint on our Android download page.)

Visit Google's support article, "Install & use Android apps on your Chromebook", and consult The Chromium Projects' "Chrome OS Systems Supporting Android Apps" list to learn more.

Tux Paint for Android on ChromeOS Usage Tips:

On Chromebooks, the mouse is missing in Tux Paint for Android
You may need to adjust "Cursor" setting via the "Tux Paint Config." tool (included with Tux Paint for Android). Quit Tux Paint, launch Tux Paint Config., make sure the "Cursor" setting is set to "Show the cursor", and click "Save and quit" at the bottom. Then re-launch Tux Paint and the mouse should be visible.
On Chromebooks, Tux Paint appears very small within a larger window
Look for a pull-down menu at the top of the window. If it shows "Phone", click it and change the setting to "Tablet". If no such option exists, check Tux Paint's "App Info" and make sure the "Preset window sizes" option is enabled.
