Tux Paint ist ein freies Zeichenprogramm, das bereits mehrere Preis gewonnen hat. Es richtet sich an Kinder zwischen drei und zwölf Jahren (bspw. Grundschüler). Tux Paint wird in Schulen im Rahmen des Informatikunterrichts zum Zeichnen eingesetzt. Es umfasst eine benutzerfreundliche Oberfläche, lustige Soundeffekte und ein anspornendes Cartoon-Maskottchen, das die Kinder bei der Verwendung des Programms unterstützen.

Die Kinder beginnen mit einer leeren Leinwand und einer Auswahl von Zeichenwerkzeugen, die ihnen helfen, kreativ zu sein. (Siehe die komplette Feature-Liste.)
