Tux Paint comes with fairly comprehensive documentation. You can see the documentation to the most recent version of Tux Paint here on this website. Also be sure to check out the list of Known Issues.
Our Having Problems? page provides some tips on debugging crash and freeze issues with Tux Paint, so we can help solve the problem.
Report Bugs or Make Feature Requests
- what operating system and OS version you are running
e.g., "Windows 11 Home 22H2", "macOS Ventura 13.2", "Android 12", etc. - which version of Tux Paint you're using
it appears on the splash screen when you launch it, is part of the name of file you downloaded, if applicable (e.g, "tuxpaint-0.9.27-2-windows-x86_64-installer.exe
"), appears at the top of your installed version's documentation, and is shown if you run the command "tuxpaint --version
" from a terminal/shell/console, on systems that offer one - how you installed Tux Paint
e.g. Windows installer EXE vs. Windows portable ZIP, Android via Google Play vs. direct APK file download, etc.
- Create a Bug Report or Feature Request Ticket
- The Tux Paint project at SourceForge.net provides ways to report bugs and request features.
