Compatibility note: This version of Tux Paint is for modern Windows systems, including: Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, and Windows 11.

Tux Paint for Windows is available as both an installer program (EXE) as well as a "Portable" stand-alone version (ZIP).

Tux Paint for Windows is available for both older 32-bit (i686) and newer 64-bit (x86_64) CPU architectures.

Tux Paint uses Simple DirectMedia Layer library (libSDL). Historically, we have used version SDL1.2, but this beta release introduces an SDL2 build. Please try the SDL2 version first.
