From the gallery: Pikachu Tux Paint by Atari
This version of Tux Paint for Windows1 is a plain ZIP archive (extractable with '7-Zip' or other tools), which doesn't install into your system, but instead runs from within its own folder.2
It is meant those who would prefer not to download an installer .exe
program.
This is also known as a "Portable" version.
Tux Paint for Windows comes as two parts, each in its own ZIP file:
- Tux Paint
The core program and data-files (user interface graphics, sound effects, etc.), and "Tux Paint Config.", a graphical configuration tool for parents and teachers.
Tux Paint & Tux Paint Config. for Windows is available for both newer 64-bit ('x86_64
') and older 32-bit ('i686

A collection of 'rubber stamp' images (and corresponding data and sound effects) for the "Stamp" tool.
